Annessa Cass started working at TNWLC 16 years ago, fresh out of college. She has always worked with numbers, from working at a hair salon as the bookkeeper to interning at Smithsonian. She completed her MBA degree from Robert Smith Business School of University of Maryland in 2013.
Annessa is inspired by Butet Manurung, who is one of the founders of Sokola, an organization that provides alternative education for indigenous people in isolated and remote areas in Indonesia.
Annessa can recite the longest word in the English dictionary, collects 90s Polly Pocket toys, does junk journaling and loves good dad jokes.
Annessa lives in Silver Spring, Maryland, with her husband, their son Troy, two cats, a fish, and Clifford, a copper-eating caterpillar.
Her favorite vacation spot is Bali, particularly Ubud. She has also visited Madrid and Santorini and would love to go to New Zealand and Switzerland.
