Prior to entering real estate, Richard was a recruiter in the financial industry. His financial background and seasoned negotiating skills enable him to achieve the most desirable results for his clients.
Shaye Zakotnik is a licensed real estate agent in DC, Virginia, and Florida. A native Washingtonian born in Georgetown and hailing from a real estate family, she began her career in 2011 in the DC area. Shortly thereafter she moved to sunny Key West, FL, where she specialized in the luxury high-end market and created an impressive network of friends and clients from all over the world. In 2017 Shaye moved back to DC to be closer to family and joined WFP. She is an associate with the office of Richard Newton.
Since 2011, Shaye has been involved in nearly $120 Million in residential real estate sales. Her experience ranges from working with buyers and sellers on affordable condos to multi-milliondollar waterfront estates. Her passion for real estate is evident to everyone she meets, and she is a trusted advocate for her clients. With extensive knowledge regarding the real estate industry and her diverse residential background, Shaye is committed to providing the highest-quality real estate experience. Clients who work with Shaye enjoy her analytical and caring consultative approach, coupled with her attention to detail and ability to craft strategically successful offers.
When not working, Shaye enjoys taking advantage of all that DC has to offer, from hiking the trails of Rock Creek with her rescued dog Charlie, to tasting the latest cuisine from new restaurants constantly popping up around the city. She enjoys traveling, volunteering with The Junior League of Washington and staying attuned to the latest happenings in the city.
Thomas “Tom” Lynch is The New Washington Land Company’s Principal Broker. During his 47 years of real estate, he has successfully taught thousands of sales agents and brokers in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
Tom is an expert witness for both real estate agents and consumers in all three regional courts as well as the Federal court system. His most famous client is The Department of Justice.
In addition to serving as a consultant to large Property Management firms and Independent Real Estate Brokerages, Tom is also the author of Chapter 5 “Housing the Aids Victim” in a law book titled The Medical and Legal Issues of Aids, published by Wiley Law.
